Welcome to Ellerslie Bowling Club

The Ellerslie Bowling Club welcomes social and competitive players. We’re a friendly club and new members are always made to feel welcome.

We are a mixed club, with men and women of all ages welcome and we have coaching available one night a week during the playing season.

Bowls are played on our natural grass greens.

We have facilities for corporate bowls, have a fully-licensed club room, plus a BBQ area.

If you are interested in joining, please feel free to ring up and book a time to be shown around the premises so we can explain how everything works.

Monday -Thursday from 3pm – 6pm

Friday from 3pm – 11am

Bowling Season

Season runs from end of September – 1st week in May

Community and Corporate Bowling

We offer a full bowling programme for social and competitive players. Due to our green under going refurbishment the Bowls Parties are on hold until further notice. The Club is still fully functional

If you’re looking for a staff party with a difference, why not try corporate bowls. We provide all the equipment, plus we have an attractive fully-licensed club room, bar and light snacks can be provided, or you can make use of our BBQ area.

EVENTS

We host a variety of special club events and tournaments for men and women.

These events, dates and times for entries will be displayed when available.

CLUB FACILITIES

Our fully licensed club rooms are a great place to relax after a game of bowls and catch up with friends. The club rooms have recently been refurbished and provide an attractive and welcoming environment. Bar and lights snacks are available.
